Dhodha is a well-suited sweet to tastebuds containing milk, wheat, sugar, and desi ghee.

The ingredients needed to prepare Dhoda are milk, sugar, broken wheat, clarified butter, and dry fruits like pistachio, walnuts, cashew nuts, and peanuts. The preparation involves soaking the broken wheat and then cooking it in milk till it absorbs all the milk and becomes grainy and thick

Dhodha is not only the cultural heritage of Khushab but also a mark of pride. Dhodha is now famous all over the world. We are providing services since 1935 with pride.

In 1912, a well-known wrestler, Hans Raj discovered a sweet dish that was both delicious and healthy. Firstly it was not for the common people, but after seeing the popularity of his taste, Hans Raj made it public to the people. He taught his work to one of his disciples Khawaja Sher Muhammad and he then taught this recipe to Haji Muhammad Amin Sanochar. Haji Amin Sahib after learning properly had his own personal Dhodha Shop near Jamia Masjid in 1935. That the shop was shifted in front of the old bus stop. Haji Amin Sahib died on May 3, 1983.

Till today, it is present as Amin Dhodha House ( Sanochran Di Hatti ) over drainage in front of the old bus stop.

Nowadays, there are many shops named Amin Dhodha House in Khushab that claim to be the original ones. Everyone is making their own version of Dhodha using substandard ingredients. People have complained about the health measures.

However, the heirs of Haji Amin filed a case against all the fake shops using his name. The government has taken action against all and removed all the boards. Now the only original Dhodha shop is named “Amin Dhodha House (” Sanochran Di Hatti”) with trademark number 90707
